Join Us for a Grand Reopening and Exhibition!
The Alliance for the Arts is thrilled to announce our grand reopening after a refreshing renovation! We've updated our facility to better serve the community and can't wait for you to see the improvements. We're celebrating our new look with a special exhibition, "I Ink, Therefore, I Am."
Join us for the opening reception on October 3 from 5 to 7 p.m. The exhibition will be on display through November 1.
About the Exhibition
Ink has a powerful and rich history, extending far beyond traditional fine art. From detailed penmanship and stunning illustrations to the deeply personal art of tattooing, ink constantly evolves to tell new stories while honoring those from the past. It's a medium of rebellion, history, and continuous evolution.
"I Ink, Therefore, I Am." is a unique, museum-style exhibition that will showcase the broad history of ink as a method, concept, and profession.
Eligible media includes:
Tattoo photography, Flash sheet designs, Ink paintings, Illustrations, Sumi-e, Scrimshaw, Apprenticeship studies, Fake skin studies
We also welcome work in other mediums that conceptually depict ink (for example, an oil painting of a tattooed figure).

Call to Artists
We invite artists of all specialties to submit their work for consideration. You can submit up to 10 artworks on our website by September 12 at 11:59 p.m.
