October Chapter Meeting

The October Chapter Meeting will be held on Sunday, October 12th at the Fort Myers-Lee County Garden Council Building, located at 2166 Virginia Avenue, Fort Myers. The meeting begins with a MINI-SHOW at 1:30 PM and our business meeting and program at 2 PM. The October meeting program will be Florida Friendly Landscape Principles presented by Clint Oster. Clint is a Landscape Architect in Boca Raton, and the son of our very own Barbara Oster! You will not want to miss this wonderful talk by a true gardening expert! We will also have presentations on The Insect of the Month: Thrips and this month’s Root Development topic Mycorrhizae.

If you are bringing blooms to enter in the mini show please make sure that you arrive early enough for your blooms to be prepared and entered promptly at 1:30 PM. We will also have raffle plants to give away. The chapter will provide water and soft drinks – bring a snack to share! Mark your calendar now for this informative meeting!

We will also have Dupont Plants for sale!!! These are beautiful plants in 1 gallon pots - ready to plant!
