E-Bike Safety Event

Spring is coming, and more and more people will be out enjoying outdoor activities. We want to make sure that everyone is safe while on the trails or at the parks. Many parents have purchased what they believe are e-bikes; however, some may not meet the state law definition or classification requirements. Residents are encouraged to bring their e-bikes to the Police Department or come by, and officers will determine whether the bike meets state classification requirements.

Educational talks will be held at 9:00 AM,10:00 AM, and 11:00 AM

We encourage parents to bring their children to these educational talks so they can learn, ask questions, and interact with officers. You can bring your bike at any time during the event, so officers can determine whether it is an e-bike.
