Our Stories, Our Hands, is a free, full-day creative workshop event for women in the Wood Buffalo region. Designed to foster connection, belonging, and personal growth, this arts-based gathering will bring together 20–30 women for a day of storytelling, self-expression, and community care.
Participants will move through three expressive workshops—bracelet-making, blackout poetry, and collage—each encouraging reflection on personal identity, culture, and experience. Through hands-on creativity, shared stories, and symbolic art-making, women will explore who they are and how their individual paths connect to something greater. The day will close with an optional circle to reflect and celebrate each other’s creations.
