When: Clean-Up Days is a twice yearly event for residents that occur in the spring and in the fall. Our next event will be in September 20, 2025.
Where: 800 12th St (from 8am-noon)
Who: Clean-Up Day offers residents a free and convenient opportunity to dispose of household items and yard debris. This one-day event is limited to City of Fort Lupton residents ONLY. The Public Works staff will be on site to assist residents who need help with the disposal of their items. If you have questions please call 303-857-6694.
What:
DO: Bring a copy of your utility bill or driver’s license to prove residency.
DO: Bring up to two (2) pickup-sized truckloads of items ONLY
DO: Bring furniture, cabinets, mattresses, bicycles, outdoor toys, carpet, doors, and lawn/yard equipment.
DO: Bring bundled or contained branches and yard waste.
DON’T: Bring industrial or commercial waste items.
DON’T: Bring concrete debris.
DON’T: Bring household hazardous waste.
DON’T: Bring regular curbside trash.
DON’T: Bring important documents to be shredded
DON’T: Bring freon based appliances
Tire Recycling Fees (rims MUST be removed)
$4.00 for car/truck tires
$10.00 for semi
$15.00 for bigger than semi
Electronics, Computers, CRT TV‘s & Monitor Recycling Fees:
$25 for under 25”
$30 for 27-32”
$50 for 32”and up
$5 for flat screen TVs and miscellaneous electronics

SENIORS / DISABLED CURBSIDE PICK-UP
When: Pickup occurs every year the Thursday before Spring or Fall Clean-Up Days. Please call before Tuesday September 16, 2025 to be put on the list. (303) 857-6694
What: Due to the success of the curbside pickup program, please have your items at the curb/alley and easily accessible for a speedy pickup. Public Works cannot leave the street to pick up items, we encourage friends, family, & neighbors to assist those who need help getting items to the curb. No items that need broken down for disposal (ie: hot tubs, camper shells) Branches must be in 5’ bundles.
Only 1 pickup-truck sized load per address.
We cannot pick up tires or electronics because of the fees associated with those items.
Household Hazardous Waste Disposal
