Info: The three B’s—Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms—are some of the most beloved composers in music history, and for good reason! This concert is a rare opportunity to experience three lesser-heard masterpieces from these musical titans: a virtuosic Bach suite led by Luke from the harpsichord, featuring the iconic Air on the G String; Beethoven’s rousing Rondo for Piano and Orchestra, performed by Steinway Artist, Mary Anne Huntsman; and the exhilarating full-orchestra version of Brahms’ Piano Quartet—An orchestral tour de force!

Four outstanding undergraduate conducting students from across the country will have the opportunity to showcase their talent with the world-class Symphony of the Americas, performing a program of American classical and popular works for string orchestra. After a competitive application process, a panel of three guest judges, and the audience serving as the fourth judge, will help The Symphony select its first-ever Conducting Competition winner, who will receive a cash prize and the opportunity to perform in the following season, mentored by Luke.
