Our Program Committee wanted to offer up a fun, interactive fundraiser this summer, and we thought — Who doesn’t love a murder mystery party??
[We regret that the theme of the mystery package we purchased for our fundraiser resembles headlines from a recent tragic event in southern Maine. This was not intentional, and the mystery itself is very different from that event.]
All proceeds from ticket sales will support Rivertown’s operations!
If you are interested in volunteering as one of the six suspects, you can participate for free. In exchange, we will email you relevant materials, you can read up on your character and learn how to answer interrogatory questions, and prepare yourself for some serious/not-so-serious grilling by our group of amateur sleuths!
Sleuths are tasked with mingling, asking questions of the suspects, eating light refreshments, and guessing who among the six is guilty. (“Shy sleuths” who are primarily interested in supporting Rivertown and want to join in on the fun without getting into it too much? Also welcome.)
Those who guess correctly will not only have bragging rights, we’ll also enter their name into a raffle to win a Rivertown gift certificate!
