About the event

90th Prince of Wales Stakes

Join us for the 90th running of the Prince of Wales Stakes, the 2nd Jewel in the OLG Canadian Triple Crown, and Fort Erie Race Track's signature event. The race features the finest Canadian-bred thoroughbreds running for a $400,000 purse on Fort Erie's dirt surface.
First race post time is 1:30 pm, with the Prince of Wales Stakes scheduled for around 5:30 p.m.
Race day highlights include food trucks, additional stake races and a fashion contest to crown the track's Best Dressed Lady. Admission and parking are free, all ages welcome.
