In this hands-on class we will explore common culinary herbs and spices such as garlic, sage, thyme, oregano (and more), their benefits, and different ways to prepare them to support yourself and your family through colds and flus.
Learning how to use these herbs you have on hand is empowering and builds confidence to support yourself and your loved ones with simple, natural solutions that are so often in reach.
This class is part lecture, part hands on medicine making. You will be making a medicinal herbal honey for you to take home and use when needed.

Risa loves spending time hands on with plants, making medicine from her garden or using what is readily available in her pantry, you will often find her kitchen counter covered in jars of tea, tinctures, oils, honeys, all ready to support her family. She loves sharing easy practical, and empowering ways to bring herbs into your daily life.
