Grassland Rivers Talk - Wolverine Farms, Fort Collins

Colorado is known as the mountain state, but its eastern plains are home to rivers that are part of a growing “grassland river revival.” Join George Frazier, author of "Riverine Dreams: Away to the Glorious and Forgotten Grassland Rivers of America", for stories of America’s overlooked rivers and the vanishing prairies that surround them.

Prepare for tales of strange riverine forests left over from the ice age, leviathan fish migrations, modern grizzlies roaming the plains, endangered plants as rare as mastodon ivory, an audacious plan to return 10,000 bison to a Great Plains biosphere reserve. Colorado plays a critical role in the story.
