Fan Veil Workshop

Come explore the magic of fan veils at The Movement Apothecary! Fan veils are a colorful handheld prop that will add drama to your dance moves. In this workshop series, you’ll learn basic techniques, such as holding, opening, and closing the fans. We will also explore a variety of one-handed and two-handed movements that will be combined into playful combos.

This class is perfect for all creative movement and dance styles, including belly dance, flow, and burlesque. No prior dance or fan experience is needed.

Veils come in a few different lengths. A limited number of 59-inch fan veils will be available to borrow during class. Please let us know if you will be borrowing a pair.
