Join us for the one of the series Backyard BBQ Chef Class, presented as part of the Colorado Beef Festival in collaboration with the Hispanic Restaurant Association. This hands-on experience celebrates Colorado beef and the art of smoking meats—right in our own backyard.
This event is on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 9 am to 1 pm in our farm store’s backyard for a fun-filled BBQ session lead by an HRA chef and culinary expert (such as Pablo Aya or Robert Grant). Discover how to slow-smoke the legendary Thor’s Hammer cut, explore other unique smoking techniques, and whip up a tasty side dish. Perfect for sparking holiday meal inspiration!
Each participant will receive:
-Expert instruction and live demonstrations
-Learn about smoking techniques and equipment
-Educational take-home materials, including a temperature guide
-Delicious food and beverages to enjoy throughout the session
-Tour of our feed yard operations (optional)
With limited spots available, this intimate class is designed to give you personalized guidance and confidence to elevate your backyard BBQ skills. Whether you’re new to smoking or looking to refine your craft, you’ll leave ready to impress at your next cookout.
