In Fort Collins’ historic Old Firehouse, Andrea van de Loo will engage in dialogue about the deepest questions her memoir raises: How do we inherit the past? How do we transform what we’ve been given? How do we break cycles of trauma and create new legacies of healing?
Her story bridges generations—from those who lived through WWII to those seeking to understand how history’s shadows reach into the present. This conversation format honors both the complexity of her journey and the intelligence of Northern Colorado’s literary community.
