Fort Atkinson Candlelight Tour

Join us for the Fort Atkinson Candlelight Tour! This year’s theme is “The Eve of Sgt. Winningham’s Wedding, and the Return of the 1825 Treaty Expedition”.

This unique walking tour by candlelight among the historic buildings and around the grounds will take approximately one and a half hours. Each stop along the way will reveal another part of the evening’s theme, which is based on actual events.

Please wear walking shoes and warm clothing. No flash photography, no flashlights or pets will be allowed during the tour. Refreshments will be served after the tour.

Because space is limited, reservations/tickets are required.

Tickets: $20 (adult), $15 (seniors; children 12 & under)

You may pay for your tickets via mail or a Square invoice (information will be emailed after your reservations are made). Non-refundable payments must be received within 7 days to confirm reservations.

Tickets include a complimentary pass to the Harold Anderson Visitor’s Center.



Proceeds will help support the Living History Program at Fort Atkinson State Historical Park.

A valid state park entry permit is required for each vehicle.
