Vaudeville 2025: Scooby's Stage Fright

Gibson Southern Theatre proudly returns for its fifty-second theatre season with Vaudeville 2025: Scooby’s Stage Fright! A tradition since 1975, Vaudeville remains the single largest annual event at Gibson Southern High School and a beloved community celebration. This year’s production runs December 5–7, 2025, under the direction of Mr. Adam Bledsoe with assistant direction from Gibson Southern Theatre founder Mrs. Kathy Parks. Senior Mykenna Frizzell serves as this year’s Student Director. This year’s Vaudeville features performances from our Theatre Arts classes, Musical Theatre class, the GSHS Cheerleaders, and more.

Scooby’s Stage Fright unfolds during what appear to be the final rehearsals leading up to opening night—until mysterious disturbances threaten to derail the production. The beloved Mystery Inc. gang arrives on the scene, determined to uncover the truth behind the hauntings before time runs out. Audiences will be taken on a thrilling and entertaining ride through musical acts such as “Empire State of Mind” from Hell’s Kitchen, “From Now On” from The Greatest Showman, and the iconic “Copacabana.” As the clues grow stranger and the suspense builds, the question remains: Will Mystery Inc. solve the case in time to save Vaudeville?
