Birdhouse Building Workshop

Winneshiek County Conservation will host a Birdhouse Building Workshop on Monday, March 16th at 5:00 pm at the shop building in Lake Meyer Campground.

All materials and tools will be provided, though participants are encouraged to bring a hammer if they have one. The workshop will also include information on how to properly install the birdhouse and about the types of birds that may take up residence there, especially the eastern bluebird.

The event is free and open to all ages. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

Registration is required to reserve your materials. Call Winneshiek County Conservation at (563) 534-7145 to register. There is a suggested $10 donation per house. Supplies are limited.
