Have you learnt the basics of crochet and wondering where to go next? If you can Crochet a granny square and are are looking to start off on lots of new exciting crochet projects then look no further! Join me for Crochet next steps - Learn how to make your own pair of fingerless gloves just in time for winter!
In this one day workshop you will be guided every step of the way in all elements of making your fingerless gloves. You will get to pick from two different square designs plus your colours to make your gloves in. We will then make our squares for our gloves, construct our squares into gloves, add our edging and finishing techniques. You may be able to finish your pair in the session but if you don’t manage to then your go away with a content sheet to remind you and you will cover all the elements to your first glove so it will just be repeating it for your second.
My Crochet Next steps workshop is a great way to meet other likeminded crocheters and join the Forest and dot Crochet community!
You will learn new skills and techniques and get plenty of 1 to 1 support with this project.
Order of the day:
Arrive for 10am and settle in, we will begin making our fingerless gloves learning new stitches and techniques, at around 12 we will stop for a delicious sandwich platter lunch provided fresh by Boath house. Your have a chance to wander the gardens and purchase a coffee in the sun. After lunch we will continue with our gloves, constructing, edging and finishing at least one glove. Your go away with new skills learnt, a content sheet to continue your learning and to make more! They make great gifts!

£65 for materials not included - please bring a 4.5mm hook and Aran weight yarn to match.
£70 materials included of 3x 50g balls of 100% wool - Please bring your own 4.5mm hook.

A sandwich platter lunch is included in the ticket fee. Please notify me of any dietary requirements upon booking. You may purchase food and drinks on the day but this must be paid direct to the venue on the day. Please do not bring your own food and drinks. The course is for one day only and not over set dates.
* An email will be sent out to you around 1 week before the event to confirm details of the event. Workshop spaces are non refundable.
*Please note workshops are subject to run according to a certain number of bookings if these bookings are not met then the workshops will be cancelled on a 5 day notice. You will either get to transfer onto a new date or a refund will be given however no refunds can be given if you cancel less than 7 days before.
* Adverse weather notice - due to the nature of adverse weather like snow or flooding with this situation being out of my control I cannot offer refunds if you or I need to cancel due to weather. I can only transfer your place onto a future date.
