WHY?
• To know which parasites your horse has to select the correct dewormer
• To determine the horse's shedding level and worming protocol for the year
• To use it in a fecal egg count reduction test to determine dewormer efficacy
HOW?
• Provide one sample her horse
• Horses should not have been dewormed within 6 weeks of fecal collection
• Collect a fresh fecal sample (<2 hours old) in a sandwich-size Ziploc bag and refrigerate until it is brought in for analysis
• Drop off your sample in a properly labelled bag to the store along with a submittal form
• Results and recommendations will be provided once they are determined
