CHRISTMAS AT THE MANSION - 2025
In celebration of the Society's 50th year at the Charlie Thompson 1900 home, we invite you to join us any Sunday afternoon starting next Sunday through Dec 21st from 1-4 pm. We are planning an experience of Christmas traditions, food, fellowship, music, and surprises that many people have been involved many hours in preparation. An example of one of the dozen trees is the "Top Hat Tree" decorated with campaign pins of politicans of county, state and national levels going back to the 1940's! The stately dining room is ready for guests to be served and the toys under the trees will definitely tap your memory files.
We also invite you if you are part of an office group, Bibile Study, or any organization to come as a group to share this experience by making a reservation to fit your schedules. Bring your own goodies and use our library for a sit down time to enjoy the atmosphere!!
We are booking now -we are on the homestretch of a great experience. The ladies say there is no need to go to Des Moines or other big cities to see a fun and beautiful house celebrating traditions than right here in River City!!!
