🧟♂️ Backstory: Outbreak at Black Pine Station
Ford, WA • Halloween Night
In 1952, a secret military research site known as Black Pine Station was built just outside Ford, buried beneath the forest canopy. Officially, it was a weather monitoring facility. Unofficially, it was ground zero for Project Lazarus—a Cold War experiment to reanimate dead tissue for battlefield use.
It worked. Too well.
One Halloween night, containment failed. The forest swallowed the station, and the government erased all records. But locals still whisper about strange lights, missing hikers, and the sound of boots dragging through pine needles.
Now, every October, the dead stir beneath the soil. The infection spreads through fog and touch. Survivors must navigate the ruins of Black Pine, avoid the infected, and uncover the truth behind Project Lazarus before they become part of it.
