Bob Starkie’s Skyhooks Show Celebrates The 50th Anniversary of “Ego Is Not A Dirty Word”

CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF Ego Is Not A Dirty Word playing the entire album plus all the other hits!

The legendary Skyhooks guitarist will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Ego Is Not A Dirty Word by playing the album in FULL plus more with his acclaimed band BOB BONGO STARKIE’S SKYHOOKS SHOW.

SKYHOOKS changed the face of Australian rock’n’roll in the 70s with their record-breaking debut album LIVING IN THE 70S and its also massive follow-up EGO IS NOT A DIRTY WORD. Like conjoined twins those albums have remained inseparable in the memories of their fans, and with this year marking 50 years since both albums dominated the charts and Countdown and ruled the airwaves, legendary Skyhooks guitarist BOB BONGO STARKIE is set to celebrate with a special Ego Is Not A Dirty Word run of shows with his acclaimed band BOB BONGO STARKIE’S SKYHOOKS SHOW.

The band these days features new lead singer SASHA THEUNISSEN, a 21-year-oldnemerging Super Star who loves the 70s and brings a new energy to the band line-up as well as an uncanny ability to match Shirl Strachan’s siren-like pitch.
