Pony Express Obstacle Challenge is a 14 arena obstacle timed event.
All ages and riding abilities are encouraged bring your horse to ride and have a blast. We have a lead line class and progress through 4 other age groups. A new In-Hand class has been added for those who have young/green horses that just need the experience of travel to a new place, an arena event, multiple horses, and new experiences. Ride fees are based on age and class. Helmets required for <18yo. A few helmets are available to rent for $5. Must bring proof of negative coggins.
Spectators are welcome at no charge. Bring a chair.
Concessions are usually available for purchase.
Lead Line, Pee Wee and <12yo IN-HAND - registration 8-9am, walk thru 9:15, begin 9:30. In-Hand will follow Pee Wee competition and before awards.
Young, Rough, Range Riders & 12yo+ IN-Hand - registration 8am - 11am. Walk thru and competition following kids awards.
If you bring a copy of your coggins, (that you can leave here) we may try to keep a folder on riders with coggins, and both releases to streamline registration at next events.
