Dry Cimarron Tour 2025

You will gather at the museum at 8am as we caravan to the Tollgate Canyon, them visit ghost towns, historical, and other sites of interest along the Dry Cimarron River, northwest of Folsom. A free hamburger & fixings & dessert lunch is served at noon at a ranch along the way (with good local beef). Salads are happily offered  for our non-carnivorous guests. The tour is free, but your donation is welcome!

Local guides will provide contest and stories for the sites we visit.You will need a vehicle to join in (we caravan, and provide bottled water). Generally, all vehicles can make the turnoffs to ranch roads for some of the site visits, but a high-clearance vehicle is best.If you plan to cancel, you must do so by the 23rd August so that we may make our lunch plans.
