SYNOPSIS: Welcome to Wonderland where everything is curiouser and curiouser! Forced to sit for a portrait by her friend Mr. Carrol, Alice doses off, and is awakened by a very-late White Rabbit… Thus begins the familiar and fantastical tale of Alice’s adventures in Wonderland. After falling down a rabbit hole into a fantastical world filled with illogical creatures and nonsensical events, Alice encounters characters like the White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat, Mad Hatter, and the tyrannical Queen of Hearts, eventually waking up in her real-world surroundings after a series of strange adventures!

● A complete list of any conflicts you have during the rehearsal schedule.
There can be no conflicts during tech week or performances.
The audition will consist of cold readings from the script.
CHARACTERS:
Actors of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to audition!
The role of ALICE has been precast
LEWIS CARROLL (Male, playing age 30s or older) – Author of Alice in Wonderland and friend to Alice. Proper English Accent.
THE MAD HATTER/THE RED QUEEN (Male, playing age teen or older) – Highly physical role requiring over-the-top movements and excellent comedic timing. Must also be comfortable interacting with the audience.
THE WHITE RABBIT (Any) – Always in a hurry. Must be comfortable moving quickly in and out of scenes.
THE CHESHIRE CAT/ABSOLOM THE CATAPILLER (Any) – Utterly fabulous and unruffled. Should be able to portray two distinct and dynamic characters. Accents are a plus!
TWEEDLE DEE/THE CROW (Any) – Assistant Storytellers who move the plot forward. Looking for articulate actors of any age.
TWEEDLE DUM/THE MARCH HARE (Any) – Assistant Storytellers who move the plot forward. Looking for articulate actors of any age.
