Women's Knot Tying Class

Boating lessons for women, taught by women. Join us for a Knot Tying Seminar followed by sunset and socializing upstairs at the Ship Store Bar.

Come when you can for as long as you can! We will be going over multiple knots, so come learn them all if you're able, or stop by for a shorter time to learn one or two.

This on-land lesson is a great place to start building your boating confidence. We will cover the most useful and common boating knots so that you’ll be able to tie up to the dock, readjust a fender, safely store spare line, and creatively solve unexpected situations on the water.
