Dedication of the Garden of Remembrance

Each year, Regiment Crosses are placed out for the duration of November in the Garden of Remembrance in Sandgate Road for members of the public to pay their respects.
Following placement of the Regiment Crosses, a service is held to dedicate the Garden and Crosses.
The service is led by the Mayor’s Chaplain, and attended by civic dignitaries, Cadets and ex-service personnel. Members of the public are invited to attend and all are asked to congregate by 1.40pm.
