We’re thrilled to return to CelticFest MS, sharing our passion for history with new friends and familiar faces. Stop by to learn more about the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) and how you can become a part of this vibrant, creative community.

The Shire of Iron Ox is your local chapter of the world’s largest historical reenactment group. The SCA is a global non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to researching and recreating the arts, skills, and culture of pre-17th century Europe. Through events, hands-on demonstrations, and immersive educational activities, we bring history to life in fun and meaningful ways.

From armored combat to costuming, cooking, woodworking, music, dance, calligraphy, and more! If it was done in the Middle Ages or Renaissance, there’s likely someone in the SCA doing it today!
