All active duty military members and veterans are cordially invited to join us for a special halftime show during the varsity game. Participants will get free admission to the game and will join the HF Marching Vikings on the field when we honor all branches of the military during halftime. Please RSVP at: bit.ly/hfsalute2025
We’ll also be selling sling bags at the game and all proceeds from the sales will be donated to the Flossmoor Veterans' Wall of Honor.

FOR BAND PARENTS
What does Football Game Day look like for the band?

Call time for our Game Day rehearsal is 4:00 pm. We rehearse on the North Field.
Students are welcome to go home after school and return as long as they can get back in time for rehearsal. It's a short turnaround, so most band students just stay at school. Pack an extra snack if you think you'll be hungry before dinner.
Students should wear long black socks, black athletic bottoms, their Band t-shirt, and marching shoes.
The clothes they wear to rehearsal will stay on under their marching band uniform for the game, so they should think about what will be most comfortable in terms of both bulk and air temperature (athletic shorts, bike shorts, long underwear bottoms, leggings, fitted joggers, etc.).
After rehearsal, we will head back to South for dinner and to change into our uniforms.
Drumline will join the football team for the Viking Walk. At 7:00 pm, the full band will depart for the football field.
The band performs pre-game and at halftime of the varsity game, as well as stand tunes to pump up the crowd during the game.
After halftime, the band returns to the band room in South. Once they're out of uniform (marching band uniforms must remain at school), students are free to go. Students may re-enter the game by wearing their marching band t-shirt as identification.
Student backpacks can be left at Door 12 and picked up at the end of the game.
