Dome and Bell Tower are not wheelchair accessible and are not recommended for visitors with limited mobility, heart, or back issues.

The Dome has 463 steps, and Giotto’s Bell Tower has 414, no elevators are available.
Children under the age of 7 are not allowed to climb the Dome or the Bell Tower. Those between the ages of 7-14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Baptistery’s mosaic vaults are under restoration and not visible; it closes at 2pm on the first Sunday of each month.
The Opera del Duomo Museum is closed on the first Tuesday of every month.
