A Modern Approach to Vibraphone Performance via Electronic Amplification, Modulation, & Manipulation

I will present my published paper over electronic manipulation of the vibraphone as a form of musical expression opening the palette of tone color that can be achieved through artful use of acoustic vibraphone technique applied to various effects pedals. I will have an extraordinary group of Muscle Shoals musicians backing e up for the clinic/master class performance aspect of the educational event. We will perform selections from my original catalog currently in digital circulation centered around pushing the limits of electronic vibraphone manipulation in the modern era. This will be a performance/technical explanation event that we are capturing for PASIC 25 virtual clinics that will air after the in person convention in November. This will air Dec 8 and can be viewed by anyone who is a current member in good standing with the Percussive Arts Society.
