VW Off Road Rally and Cave exploring in
The Withlacoochee State Forest
Join us December 12 - 14 as we wander the Withlacoochie State Forest. 2600 acres of off road adventure awaits at this hidden treasure located in Citrus county Florida.
Welcome off roaders!! The trails through the Citrus Wildlife Management area vary from hard pack washboard gravel to soft sugar sand as well as fun mud pits in the center of the trails. If off roading isn’t your bag, there are miles of hiking trails, wildlife viewing and caves to explore with your VW friends, pets are ok if on a leash at all times in the campgrounds.
We will be camping at Tillis Hill Recreation Area. There are two other campgrounds in the forest close by such as Holder Mine and Mutal Mine (Primitive only campground)

Friday
Setup camp, relax, explore the trails if you want but make sure to explore with at least two vehicles, recovery gear, and OnX off-road app to track you in and out or you will get lost.
Saturday
Meeting spot for off road run will be outside the gates at Tillis Hill Recreation Area
9AM drivers meeting.
9:30 AM leaving meeting spot for trail riding and cave exploring. Pack a lunch and make sure you are gassed up.
