Grand Opening: 810 Munchies – Special Needs Friendly Restaurant, Dort Mall, Flint MI

Grand opening set for Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 4:30 PM.

The he concept behind 810 Munchie is rather unique. Steven Brewer, the owner and father of two sons on the autism spectrum, searched for restaurants that welcomed families with special needs, but came up empty.

After the story behind 810 Munchies was revealed, social media lit up with excitement. The comments on the restaurant’s Facebook page were overwhelmingly positive and full of support.

Brewer wants all families to feel welcome and included, and is putting in the work to make that happen.
