With the federal subsidy on home batteries, state rebates on solar panels and increasing electricity bills, many people are realising there is no time like the present to invest in home renewable energy and storage.
This popular event returns for one last time, hosted by Repower Mornington Peninsula and Flinders Zero Carbon Community (FZCC) with some extra features not seen before. As before, there will be a presentation by an independent expert from the Yarra Energy Foundation, followed by a demonstration of the innovative tool ‘Repower and Save’ that enables research on electric products, prices and local businesses (without the businesses getting your contact details until you choose to share them).
We will have experts on hand to answer your questions about whether now is the time for you to invest in home solar and a battery.
Other features include:
Virtual Energy Networks – how residents can share and benefit from cheaper renewable energy, regardless of whether they have solar on their roof.
Bi-directional chargers – how electric vehicles can help power your home and even send power back into the grid.
Panel discussion with some of Repower’s trusted local business specialising in home electrification.
Repower and Flinders Zero Carbon Community have received funding support through the Community Electrification Engagement Program grant from the Victorian Government through Sustainability Victoria for this Solar and Battery information event.
