Poets' Corner poetry slam at the Flinders Fringe Festival 2026.

Poets' Corner poetry slam at the Flinders Fringe Festival is on Saturday the 28th of February 2:30 -4:30pm in St John's Church Hall. A chance to perform your poetry/spoken word before an audience and judges.
• Three minutes to present your original work.
• Perform from memory or read.
• No props, costumes, pre-recorded music, or musical instruments allowed.
• Prizes for ‘Poem of the day’ and ‘Best on theme of GOING WITH THE FLOW’.
Including the theme is not compulsory but optional.
Adjudicators: Melbourne poet/slam adjudicator Jennifer Compton and local poet David Regan.
Present or just enjoy the spoken-word and poetry.
Participation optional.
Entry fee - same for poets and non-poets.
Duration: 150 mins
Bookings advised.
