Back by popular demand after their sold-out summer debut, this sharp, dark and laugh-out-loud show returns to Flinders Fringe, and it’s just as outrageous, irreverent and wickedly funny as ever.
Are We Dead Yet? is an afternoon of spoken word, and existential comedy where laughter is the last defence against a mad world. Life, death, politics, ageing, nothing is off the table.
Starring Mornington Peninsula’s own:
Alan Pentland (72) ex-Fast Forward satirist and Melbourne Spoken Word prize-winner, back with razor-sharp observations and absurdist charm.
Liz Hicklin (94) the “mistress of sit-down stand-up,” still stealing scenes with her disarming wit and dry delivery. A rare comedic treasure.
