It takes some time for our bodies to adapt to riding a bike. However, for some that adaptation turns into maladaptation in order to minimize chronic discomfort while riding. In many cases it does not have to be that way. There are numerous available bike adjustments and settings that enable the bike to better adapt to the rider. This Tutorial Tuesday will identify the sometimes hidden, even misunderstood adjustments most bikes have. While this clinic is not a substitute for a professional bike fit, it will enable you to make tweaks to make riding much more satisfying.
