Reiki I is the first gateway into the world of energy healing—a gentle yet powerful initiation that teaches you to channel universal life-force energy for balance, clarity, and renewal. In this shamanic-infused version of the Usui tradition, we honor both Reiki’s lineage and the living spirits of Earth, Sky, and the sacred directions. Students are invited to walk this path with presence, humility, and deep listening.
This class blends traditional Reiki teachings with shamanic practices such as grounding into the Earth’s heartbeat, connecting with helping spirits or guides (as each student’s path permits), and learning to sense energy through both the physical body and the subtle field. No previous training is required; this is a safe, welcoming space for all backgrounds.
A central part of the day is the Reiki I attunement, a ritual moment in which the teacher opens the student’s channel to the Reiki current. This is held as a sacred “energy doorway,” supported by grounding, breathwork, and gentle spirit-led alignment. Many experience it as a homecoming, a remembering, or an awakening of ancient wisdom.
