Live Jazz: Dan Wilkins Trio

Dan Wilkins returns to Flemington DIY with his trio, featuring bassist Joe Michaels and drummer Hugh Kline, with Wilkins playing both saxophone and piano. In May 2025, the trio released their first album together titled ‘Oceans Beyond the Sky’ featuring new colorful compositions by Wilkins conceived for piano trio/quartet, inspired by dreams and landscapes. In celebration of their release, the trio has performed at regional venues such as the Deer Head Inn, Musikfest, and Vic’s Jazz Loft. Wilkins has been busy in 2025 performing with his groups at Smalls Jazz Club, Miller Symphony Hall, and the Lafayette Bar. The trio looks forward to present brand new music at Flemington DIY as well as reimagined interpretations of jazz favorites.
