Hello all! The 8th monthly Backstage Cleveleys Open Mic (hosted by me - Imogen) is confirmed for Wednesday 19th November.
Let’s fill the place again to support all the amazing performers we have every month.
One of the bands that performed last month (Thursdays Fiasco) got their first gig booking at Waterloo FY4 the following Saturday as a direct result of performing at the open mic. These are a great way of showcasing your band to the Backstage/Waterloo team.
Lots of messages received already. Please share the posts and invite your friends and if you know any new bands and performers drop me a message so we can get them on stage at this or the next Open Mic.
Please get in touch with me if you’re interested in performing (or to recommend bands artists you’d like to see) and I’ll confirm slots over the next couple of weeks.
We ask that everyone performing gets to Backstage by 7pm and stay as long as you can to support other acts. Free entry as always but please do buy drinks from the bar (if you’re old enough!) to support the venue and staff 🙂
Solo acts get a 2 song slot
Bands/Duos get 3 songs.
As this is a live music venue, it is preferred by the venue that the music is all live (aka no backing tracks) but if this affects you or you have any questions regarding your act, please drop me a message and we’ll sort something out ☺️

PLEASE NOTE: (the boring but necessary bit)
This is a licenced premises, working bar, and a music and performance event at a vital grassroots music venue.
Leave your troubles and dramas at the door and support local business, live music and all the performers and Backstage staff.
9pm curfew for any under 18’s, and all under 18’s must be accompanied by a legal guardian!
Any bad behaviour or disrespect to performers, organisers or any members of the Backstage team will result in removal from the venue and a possible permanent ban from future events.
Most importantly… Support live and local music and venues and have a great night!
