📚 Book Launch & Family Fun Day at Affinity Fleetwood – Saturday 13th September!
Join the Aspergillosis Trust for the launch of their brand-new children’s book Dad and the Sneaky Spores – a fun story with an important message about a rare lung condition caused by the fungus aspergillus.
Meet the author, Christina Gabbitas who created this beautiful gentle story.
Talk to the Johnstone family about how and why they fundraised tirelessly to get this book created.
Chat to a nurse about health concerns, and get expert advice from a damp and mould specialist.
The Aspergillosis Trust Charity team will also be on hand to help with any questions or concerns you may have.
For the kids: Treasure hunt, lucky dip, and prizes!
For the grown-ups: Friendly chats, expert advice, and the chance to learn more about aspergillosis.
Christina will also be signing any purchased books between 12 and 2pm. Come along for a chat and find out Christina’s inspiration and why she wanted to help us tell this story.
All book sales and donations will help the Aspergillosis Trust support patients and raise awareness.
