The Start Point: Flagler Beach Library 315 S. 7th Street · Flagler Beach, FL I-95 take Exit 284 Drive East toward Flagler Beach approximately 3.5 miles to the traffic signal at the east end (beachside) of the bridge, S. Flagler Avenue. Turn right onto S. Flagler Ave. and drive until the road bends to the left (7th St. S.) Immediately after the bend, turn right into the parking lot behind the Flagler Beach Library. The group will meet under one of the pavilions.
Join the Happy Wanderers for these AVA-sanctioned 5KMm (3.1 miles, 1 hour) or 11KM (6.8 miles, 2 hour) group walks in beautiful Flagler Beach, FL to include the Betty Steflik Nature Preserve area.
You may walk with the group (one hour 5KM or 2 hour 15 minutes 11 KM) or at your own pace - just pick up a Map/Directions when you register.
Registration thirty minutes prior to start. Cost is $4.00 for participants 12 yrs. old or older. Children to be accompanied by an adult. Stamp your Books! this is an AVA/IVV event.
The walk is rated 1C (flat & easy except for a portion on the beach), it is on sidewalks through the Historic District including residential streets, parks, boardwalks and groomed trails inside the nature preserve and the downtown shopping / main street area.
This walk is not suitable for wheelchairs/strollers (unless rough-terrain type.) Pets are allowed but must be leashed, picked up after & not allowed on beach portion (use sidewalk instead).
