You'll learn design principles, tools, methodologies plus tips and tricks from what we have learnt working on over 600 UX and service design projects.
Can I pay by invoice?
Yes you can. After you choose your tickets, when you are asked to choose a payment type, you can choose 'Pay by invoice' and you will be emailed the invoice and your place at our course will be reserved.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
There will be morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea available at intervals throughout the day. When you register for the course we will ask you for your dietary requirements and do our best to cater for these. No additional charge for dietary requirements.
Do I need some prior knowledge of UX or service design to undertake this course?
We recommend you join the Discovery & User Research course the day before this one as it will cover the 'problem' space and the Service Design course only focuses on the 'solution' space.
We have had complete beginners as well as advanced UX practitioners complete our course and they all give us good course ratings. While it will help if you have experience or qualifications in either IT, digital, market research, psychology, social research or marketing, it is not essential.
What's the refund policy?
Cancellations received 30 days or more before to the course start date will incur a 25% administration fee. Cancellations received less than 30 days are non refundable.
In the event that PeakXD postpones or cancels a course (e.g. due to insufficient numbers), attendees can elect to receive a full refund or have their payment transferred to a future course. We reserve the right to change the venue to equivalent standard and location within 5km of the CBD of the booked city.
From time to time, we may need to change the delivery format of a course (e.g., from in-person to virtual). If this occurs, the course content and learning outcomes will remain the same, and your registration will be automatically transferred to the new format. As the course will still be delivered in full, refunds will not be issued in these circumstances.
Can I update my registration information?
Yes, email us at any time to update registration information. We will send you an email requesting more information from you closer to the event date.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
