This interactive workshop introduces the art & science of positive veterinary leadership. Based on the book, “Lead to Thrive: The Science of Crafting a Positive Veterinary Culture”, the ‘4 Ps’ Framework provides leaders with actionable tools to build a “speak-up” learning environment, instill a contribution mindset, awaken growth and development, and nurture collaboration and community in veterinary teams. Attendees will leave with tangible, evidence-based practices for enabling the best in the people they lead.

• An introduction to the science of positive leadership and human motivation
• Understanding the benefits of positive leadership for people, teams, and organizations
• An introduction to the 4 Ps Framework and how to apply it
• Exploring a variety of evidence-based tools for implementing the 4 Ps
