Your library offers free access to a number of popular genealogy research tools, including Ancestry.com (Library Edition), FamilySearch, ProQuest, and the Minnesota Digital Library.

If you're interested in exploring these tools with a little assistance, join the Fertile Public Library for a genealogy meetup and learn how to access these tools with a library staff member on hand to answer questions as they come up. It is recommended to bring a laptop, tablet, or flash drive to record information. Don't have a laptop or tablet? Use the library's desktops or check out one of our Chromebooks for In-Library Use for the day.

This program is offered free of charge. Don't forget to bring some family information to aid in your research!
