Caring Together: Workshop for Family Caregivers

Join AARP Michigan and the Michigan District Baptist Association
for a free workshop and continental breakfast for caregivers and
family members of older adults.

Our keynote speaker, Dr. Florence Johnson, is an Assistant Professor and Health Services Nurse Scientist at the University of Michigan. Her mission is to enhance the well-being of caregivers through research, education and community engagement.

This event includes information about:
• Caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s
disease and other dementias
• Respite care services available
• Resources from local agencies dedicated
to caregiver support, like the Henry Ford
C.A.R.E. Program
