Fundraiser for Rev. Steve Matthews

Please mark your calendar for an event at the village on May 16th beginning at noon. we are holding a concert/meal fundraiser for Lenoir resident, Rev. Steve Matthews who due to a flesh eating bacteria has had his arm, feet and finger tips amputated. He has been in the hospital for 3 months and we are unsure when he will be released. He is undergoing intense physical therapy. He and his sweet wife, Dawn are facing enormous medical bills and that doesn't even include the expense of the prosthetics that he will need. Their home will also have to be remodeled to accommodate their needs.

This event will depend totally on the donations from caring people like you. We hope to see you on May 16th.
