Harris Financial Services will be hosting the 13th Annual Shred Party for all of those documents that we need to be disposed of, yet they have information that requires secure handling.
There will be Contact-Less shredding services available.
Rob Harris and his entire team make this possible each year as a fun twist on an important theme – personal data security.
We are all concerned about our account information being found or stolen, our devices hacked and yet one of the most common and effective ways to steal an identity remains searching through garbage and finding statements and information that makes piecing together one’s information in an effective way, quite simple.
The Shred Party is available to the entire community – you need not be a current client of Harris Financial to participate, in fact, we encourage you to invite anyone that you know that has, that container in the corner – you know the one – that they truly intend to take for disposal and they just haven’t found the time or the place.
A few items to avoid are things like 3 Ring Binders, Hard Drives and Hard Plastic Containers.
Documents containing Staples, Paper Clips, Binder Clips and Paper Boxes are all fine.
