The Allegan State Game Area and Girls Scout in Hamilton, Fennville and Douglas/Saugatuck are teaming up to plant fruit trees in the Allegan State Game Area for wildlife and people to enjoy.
We will be planting a variety of potted apple trees that are about 12’-15’ high. Girls Scouts will learn the process of proper tree planting techniques, the importance of fencing and fencing techniques.

Time: 11:00AM – 3:00PM
Location: 46th St. and 122nd Ave Valley Township. Map Attached
What to bring: Dress for the weather, blaze orange (if you have it), close toed shoes, garden gloves, eye protection and shovel (if you have one)
The girls will be provided a tree to plant, the Tree Promise Patch, some DNR swag, a blaze orange headband from The Sassy Olive, A coupon for 5 FREE apples from Crane's Orchards, a Wooden tree dedication that they can personalize, maps, Cider, donuts and more!
