Coppicing Training and Conservation Volunteer Day

Join Habitats and Heritage on a volunteer action day with the Take Me To The River project in Donkey Wood!

We will be learning how to coppice trees to provide more light in the freshwater habitats surrounding the Donkey Wood boardwalk, as well as improving sightlines along the pathways.

No prior experience required, please consider the weather and landscape when chosing what to wear (wellies and waterproofs are advised!).

This event is suitable for ages 14+, under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

We will meet at the entrance to Donkey Wood on Staines Road at 10am.
