🍂 The Scarecrow Invasion is Back in Downtown Fayetteville! 🍂
We are excited to announce the return of the Downtown Scarecrow Invasion Contest—a friendly competition between our Downtown Main Street businesses, with YOU helping to decide the winner!
Who Can Participate?
Downtown Main Street Businesses & Organizations are invited to join.
No storefront on the Downtown Square or City Center Park? No problem! Join the “Wandering Scarecrows.” Once you register, you’ll be assigned a location on the Historic Courthouse Lawn or at City Center Park.
Important Details:
Registration Deadline: October 10
Scarecrow Display Dates: October 27 – November 15
Voting: The public will vote using our digital passport and QR codes (just like Restaurant Week!).
Awards & Fun Extras:
The entry with the most votes will earn the People’s Choice Award and bragging rights for 2025!
Last year’s winner was Awkward Brewing—who will take the crown this year? 👑
Selfie Contest: We’re bringing it back! Every selfie taken with a scarecrow using the passport counts as an entry into a raffle for a Downtown Fall Goodie Basket.
This year, scarecrows will be placed later in the season to keep our downtown filled with fall charm as we transition into the holidays.
